Love You Today & Everyday

Is everyone having a fabulous summer so far?  I sure hope so.  I'm blogging today for Fotobella and have the pleasure of sharing a layout I made using a fabulous Echo Park Collection.  When I saw the Echo Park Beautiful Life Collection I knew it was meant for my daughter's photos.  It's  such a beautiful collection and I have been loving every piece of paper and embellishment.

There are a lot of things I love about this collection.  Mostly, the endless options for making your own embellishments.

Using the borders page I cut out the pennant flags and the tickets and inked them with brown ink.

Here I combined the alpha stickers with stickles for the page title.  I cut the butterfly out with the cricket and used twine and stickles to embellish it.  I really love how this cluster of embellishments came together.

Hope you enjoyed checking out my layout as much as I enjoyed making it.  Stop by Fotobella.com and get your own Echo Park Collection and delve in for some creative fun.

Have a fabulous day!

My Heart Tag

Hello there!  I've been working with Echo Park's Beautiful Life Collection for the Fotobella Design Team.  And let me just say that the collection is beautiful.  Such great colors and patterns.  I put a few things together to make a quick tag.  I especially love the raffle tickets, which make great embellishments.

I combined stickers, paper, adhering them with foam tape, pop dots and staples for a very fun and bright combination.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a fabulous day!

Bubbling with Fun

Hello there!  I'm here today to share my Imaginisce summer project with all of you.  I thought it would be fun to put together something to take to the next BBQ or summer get together we are invited to.  Most people find themselves bringing a bottle of wine or something for the hostess.  Why not bring something fun for the kids to enjoy at the party…..like a bucket full of bubbles.  You can find these in the seasonal section of any store right now.   They come with the bottles of bubbles and tons of fun bubble wands!

Supplies:

Imaginisce Childhood Memories Collection, Bubble Bucket, Bubble Want, Imagi-cut Ribbon Cutter, Imaginisce Glue Gun, May Arts Ribbon, Ranger Glossy Accents, pop dots.

I took one of those buckets of bubble fun and altered it using the bubble theme paper and embellishments from the Childhood Memories Collection.  When making this project, I used one of my favorite Imaginisce tools, the Imagi-cut ribbon cutter.

This thing is amazing!  It cuts and seals the end of your ribbon for the perfect cut and no more FRAYING!

Hope you all having a great summer!

Happy Birthday Gift Bag

I'm always in need of gift bags, aren't you?  And I get tired of the same ones that you always see at the store.  Going through my scrapbook stash, I thought Bo Bunny Isabella Collection was just the right one I needed to make gift bag for one of my friends.

The beautiful pinks and grays in this collection along with the classy designs are very feminine and just the look I needed.  I layered papers and embellishments for a rich look.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was given that extra sparkle and shine with Diamond Stickles.

I added some beautiful white lace ribbon and layered flowers for an extra special look.  I love how the design came out, I almost didn't want to give it away!  It was well received by my friend and that made it all worth it!

World's Best Dad

Hello there!  Today I'm sharing a card made with Bo Bunny's Trail Mix Collection.  It's great for making projects for the men in your life.  Although the theme of this card is for Dad's, its versatile in that it can be used for a Birthday, Father's Day, or any day of the week to make Dad feel special!

I chose several patterned papers to put together.  I made tags by punching holes in the chipboard embellishments with the crop-a-dile and added some twine.  I then made the title out of the alpha stickers that are included in the collection.  This was a very quick and simple card to put together but there are some great eye catching elements.

Visit Fotobella.com and check out this collection in the I Want It All Bundle and get all the fabulous Bo Bunny goodies!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

Celebrate Independence Day!

Independence Day is always a fun celebration time for my family.  Every year we are either at the beach or in the pool all day, barbecuing and then heading down to the beach after dark to watch the fireworks go off at the end of the pier.  It's really fun and can't wait to do it again this year!  Last year we were in the pool and here is a great photo of my husband and kiddos having a blast!

For the layout I wanted to focus on the traditional Independence day colors, Red, White & Blue.  I accented that with fun patterned paper from the Endless Summer collection that went with the pool theme of the photo.  For the embellishments, I altered one of the journaling stickers by adding the blue card stock to make a great background for the "July 4th" title and matted "Pool Party" in the same  blue card stock.  I also hand cut my own splash shapes from the card stock and added that beautiful sparkle with Stickles.  I popped the splashes of the page with foam tape.  Makes it look as though the water is splashing right off the page.  So fun!

Supplies:  Endless Summer Collection, Childhood Memories Collection, White Cardstock, Blue Cardstock, Blue, Diamond and Red Stickles, Blue and White Ink, Foam tape, White Gel Pen.

Hope everyone has a happy & safe holiday!

It's A Challenge

Happy July everyone!  Today brings a new monthly challenge with Imaginisce!  Here is the sketch:

And this month, there are NO RULES!!!  Hooray!!!

Visit the Imaginisce blog to upload your entry!

Here is the layout I created using the sketch:

For the layout I chose to combine the Black Ice Collection with the Love You More Collection, using black card stock as my canvas.  The black just makes everything pop!

For the journaling I used a white chalkboard pen and it worked beautifully on the black card stock!

I just LOVE this month's sketch!  Take a chance, have some fun with the sketch and throw your hat in the ring for a chance to win this month's challenge!

Have a fabulous day!
